We're on a concrete slab. Can we still get a curbless shower?

Yes. On slab the usual approach is to saw-cut the slab at the drain area and lower it so the pan can be set below the finished floor. It is a defined, contained piece of work when it is planned rather than discovered.

How small can a usable shower be?
